Welcome to our cottage, a nature paradise in Savonranta in the Saimaa Lake District in Eastern Finland, in the middle of nowhere. Metsäranta is: "forest and beach". At this nature house you will find untouched nature, clean air, crystal clear water and silence. Finland is here at its best! The place has sun all day long during the long summer days. The cottage was completely renovated in 2018 with a new kitchenette, new sofa bed, new hot and cold shower, new eco toilet and new fridge-freezer. The wash water comes straight from the lake. There is a separate source for drinking water. The living room has a wood burner and a sofa bed and on the first floor are two more beds. The porch is very spacious and overlooks the lake. Outside is a barbeque, fireplace with birch benches, a cozy lounge set on the water and a rowing boat. NL owner - Dutch owner - Niederländischer Besitzer. We speak English - Wir sprechen Deutsch. The nature house is located in the middle of nature, on Lake Vääräjärvi at 7 km. from Savonranta (Savonlinna). In the middle of the beautiful and pristine Saimaa Lake District. Beavers are your closest neighbors. It is a paradise for those seeking tranquility, nature lovers and fishermen. The water is very clean and great for swimming. The house is about 60 km away. from Savonlinna and 80 km. from Joensuu. The Kolovesi National Park with the ring seals and the breathtaking scenery is about 12 km. The wood-fired sauna is great for relaxing and then taking a refreshing dip in the lake. Fishing rods are provided.
