The country house was completely rebuilt from a house built in the 19th century in the typical simple Portuguese country house style from a ruin in 2015 and therefore has all the comfort features of a new building. Characteristic features such as the central quarry stone interior wall between the living room and kitchen, a small balcony on the upper floor and the quarry stone exterior walls are successfully combined with modern energy supply through a fully automatic pellet stove for heating all rooms as well as a solar thermal system with a 300 liter tank for the highly available and ecological hot water supply. Total living space of 120 sqm, distributed over a ground floor and an upper floor, 3 bedrooms with fitted wardrobes (2 bedrooms on the upper floor (13 sqm and 10 sqm respectively) each with a single bed, 1 bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed (approx. 14 sqm) and en-suite bathroom with shower.

The house is located on a small road on the edge of the forest in the village near Ansião and in a very quiet, relaxing area. All infrastructural facilities are available in Ansião (supermarkets such as Intermarché as well as discount stores, restaurants, swimming pool, medical care, hairdresser, banks, etc.). The IC 8 Ansião highway is 7 km away and leads eastwards to the natural river baths, the town of Guarda and the recreational areas with their many lakes, and westwards to Pombal, the next largest town. To the north is the old historic university town of Coimbra (approx. 35 km) and to the south the famous city of the Knights Templar, Tomar (approx. 50 km). Porto or Lisbon airport can be reached in around 1.5 hours via the easily accessible highway connection. Due to its versatility, the region is suitable for a beach, bathing and hiking vacation as well as for day trips with a cultural background.
