Built by hand in 2017 by a small Italian family business in Tuscany, this sturdy and insulated wooden caravan is fully equipped for 2 people. It offers 14 m² of space with a room with a double bed, kitchenette and dining area, a bathroom and a small terrace in front of the entrance door. The bed has French dimensions (1.40x1.90m) with a high-quality mattress. There is storage space under the bed for clothes, luggage, etc. Two windows with shutters make the room bright and friendly and offer a view of the valley, the village, our olive trees, lavender, rosemary and sage. Adjacent to the living room is the bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin (a hairdryer is available). A round tilting window provides light, ventilation and a special ambience. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner gas stove, refrigerator, sink, French press coffee maker, Bialetti espresso maker, toaster, pots, pans and dishes.

ur newly built "gypsy caravan" is picturesquely situated on a 2500 square meter property surrounded by olive trees and lots of unspoiled nature in an absolutely secluded location with wonderful views. The property belongs to our olive mill, which is about 100 meters away and where we live. The 400-year-old mill (natural stone building with preserved mill wheel), which was still pressing the finest olive oil until the 1950s, is located in the hinterland of the port town of Imperia, approx. 23 km from the coast on the edge of the small mountain village of Conio. The nearest village with a store, bar, post office, pizzeria and trattoria is Borgomaro, 10 km away. The caravan on the spacious property offers absolute tranquillity and an unobstructed, impressive view of the unspoilt Impero Valley and the surrounding mountains with their wild, untouched nature. We are surrounded by sunny olive groves, fruit and vegetable gardens: the white beans of Conio are highly prized even beyond the province of Imperia.
