This lodge is part of our farm, but with its own entrance and a large private garden. You therefore have complete privacy here. Layout of the nature house: Spacious living-dining room, open kitchen with all necessary equipment. 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 x single bed, 1 bathroom with shower and sink Separate toilet. Various terraces overlooking the Thijssegracht and/or the garden.You can also make free use of our canoes. Important to know: Our nature house is only accessible via a walking-bike path or by boat and is about 4/5 minutes walk from the central parking lot and therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Also, the house and garden are located directly on the Thijssegracht and the garden is not fenced. Energy consumption: Normal energy consumption (up to 10 KwH per day/night) is included in the price. Above this we charge the cost price per KwH.

Here you wake up to the twittering of the birds and can really unwind. The passing boats (approximately between 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.) give a pleasant bustle, but it is definitely not as extremely busy as in the center of Giethoorn which is 4 km away. Besides walking and cycling, it is also nice to visit Blokzijl or Vollenhove, for example. Steenwijk is about 5 km away and has a nice shopping street. Here you will also find all known supermarkets (5). Meppel has a very nice historic (shopping) center with several squares and terraces, but also Zwolle is a must.
