Our farmhouse is an old Cap Mas, already documented in parchments from the year 1243. It is located on the eastern slope of the Sierra de Toix, in the beautiful village of Oix (La Garrotxa), within the Natural Interest Area of Alta Garrotxa. Its privileged location and incomparable natural environment in La Garrotxa. The farm of the Mas Pineda country house, of 331 hectares, is a certified sustainable and ecological forest exploitation, with a flock of sheep and goats, with other farm animals. Oix is located within the Area of Natural Interest (PEIN) of Alta Garrotxa, within the Xarxa Natura 2000 area, as a Site of Community Importance (SCI) and as a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA). Specifically, it is part of the Alta Garrotxa - Massís de les Salines area (code ES5120001). It also has two mature forests protected under a land stewardship contract, which can be visited.
