Quiet and detached vacation home in the ribbon settlement of Schoorl. With large enclosed garden of 600m2. The nature house is compact but fully equipped. A brief description: open kitchen with refrigerator, freezer with 3 freezer drawers, electric oven, small microwave, dishwasher, kettle and quick filter coffee maker. In the room a double sofa, a chair that can be made into a single bed, another chair. Television. Small round dining table with four chairs. Bedroom 1: double box-spring bed and dresser, Bedroom 2: bunk bed and dresser. Bathroom with sink and walk-in shower. Toilet is separate. Crib and high chair available on request. We rent including bed-bath and kitchen linen. (For baby bed please bring your own stuff). Outside: large garden with two dining tables and chairs, swing, shed with washer and dryer, garden furniture, bbq and children's toys. Our chickens run loose in the garden, therefore dogs are not allowed.

Schoorl is located at the foot of the highest dunes in the Netherlands, bordering forest and polders. In the summer it is a lively village, off-season a bit quieter. There are plenty of cycling, mountain biking and hiking opportunities. An 8-minute walk away is the visitor center Het Zandspoor of the Forestry Commission. The beach can be reached by bicycle in 20 minutes (6 km). Schoorl aan Zee is only accessible by bicycle and therefore a unique and quiet place, for the enthusiast. Hargen and Camperduin are at the same distance and can also be reached by car. The new beaches behind the Hondsbossche Zeewering are pristine, wide and clean. The artists' village of Bergen is 5 kilometers away, Alkmaar with its nice historic town center 10 kilometers.
