Welcome to this nature house! The Mas, at one time a forge where the iron ore carried from the Canigou was melted, is surrounded by wooded slopes with chestnut, beech and oak trees.A river runs alongside the house and it is possible to swin in the natural pools. We have a lot of animals (goats, horses, donkeys, cats, dogs, chicken...) as well as a biological garden where we grow our own fruits and vegetables. Our big gîte is a beautiful spacious accommodation inside the Mas. It has 4 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, toilet and separate bath, a separate toilet; an open-plan kitchen and a wood-burning stove. Our gîte has its private entrance, a large terrace with table and benches and a smaller balcony that you can access from the kitchen. It is suitable for 8 to 10 people.

Mas is an isolated place in the Pyrénées, where you will enjoy the peacefulness to relax and rest, meditate and fall asleep with the owls singing. During day time, you will be able to swim the the calm river and its natural pools, explore the area, horse-riding or just reading and napping in a hamac! Nearby in the valley, you can visit Céret or Amélie les Bains. Céret is famous thanks to the many painters who stayed there and its museum is beatiful, as well as the market on Saturday mornings. Amélie le Bains has thermal baths and is renowned since antiquity! The Mediterranean coast is an hour drive from la Mas. You will be able to visit the cute villages of Collioure and Banyuls, have a swim in the sea and why not scuba diving!
