Average rating 9.3!!! A good night's sleep is guaranteed in the forest of Drenthe. At night it is quiet and nice and dark. And when the first sunrays show themselves, you wake up rested by the chirping birds. After breakfast you step straight into the forest for a morning walk. At a distance of only 45 minutes drive from Amsterdam / North Holland and Utrecht, you find yourself in the middle of the forest, in your luxury nature house. The nature house is fully equipped (dishwasher, combi-oven) and stands in a - fenced - garden of 1,250m² that guarantees your privacy. The beds are already made upon arrival, and bath towels and other kitchen linen are provided. From the garden you can walk or cycle directly into the forest. On your return you can reminisce on one of the terraces. Are you coming with children? They can play to their heart's content on private property. Should you wish to escape the silence for a while, there is of course excellent Wifi available.

Nature and environment:This newly built nature house is located in Boswachterij Ruinen, near the beautiful village of Ruinen. Drenthe has three National Parks of which the Dwingelderveld with its flock of sheep is a stone's throw away. Besides the activities offered by the nearby nature (hiking and cycling routes), you can reach Giethoorn, Overijssel, Dwingeloo, Frederiksoord, Friesland and Emmen (Wildlands) within a short time. You can also store in the cozy Meppel or Hoogeveen where you will also find numerous restaurants. An ideal base for many trips so. And after a nice day you will return to the cottage, where you will see the birds, squirrels or even deer in the garden. A special experience!
