The nature house is a ground floor apartment. The house is not specially adapted for wheelchair use, but we have several times been able to receive wheelchair users who can still make do with this, not specially adapted house. Everything is at floor-level, from outside to inside we can place a ramp. You have three bedrooms: two with two single beds which we can turn into a solid double bed. Also a bedroom with two nice, spacious bunk beds . (see photos) . You have a cozy living room with an open passage to the kitchen. Because the total building has 3 apartments, please keep in mind that after ten o'clock there are other tenants. If necessary, guests can use the group room for the later hours if it is available.

This nature house has a lovely, large garden where you can enjoy sun and shade, sit in quiet spots on the banks of the Swalm River or nice and close to home next to the sandbox. The surrounding nature reserves Groenewoud and de Hout are located in the Swalm valley and are managed by the Forestry Commission. There are nice small and large walks from the guest house. The guest house is located on the outskirts of the village of Swalmen. A nice walk along the Swalm brings you to the core of the village with stores, supermarkets and a wide choice of dining options. An outdoor swimming pool is a 10-minute walk away. Roermond and Maastricht are beautiful cities to visit. Nice trips include a visit to Bruggen (10 kilometers) with a fascinating nature and hunting museum, and a beautiful playground with zoo. Tegelen (12 kilometers) has a playground and climbing park. The white town of Thorn is 15 kilometers from here. In Steyl you will find the Mission Museum and botanical garden.
