Extends all the way to Egmond-binnen and of course it offers wonderful opportunities for lazing in the sun in summer and especially in spring and autumn excellent opportunities for walking. Egmond aan Zee can be reached at only 3.5 km. Cycle through the dunes towards the beach. It is a wonderful experience.Within 10 km are the artist village of Bergen and the old Dutch historic town of Alkmaar made world famous by the cheese market. Alkmaar is more: Wander along the beautiful canals, rest on one of the many terraces and discover the many stores. Nearby is also the artist village of Bergen with its wide avenues, large houses and beautiful gardens. The center of this beautiful village has cozy terraces, restaurants, cafes and boutiques.
