Pets not allowed
The unique houseboat berth is located on the island Burd, which is part of the National Park De Alde Faenen. The island Burd is located east of the village of Grou, from which it is separated by the Prinses Margrietkanaal. The Burd is further away from the Pikmeer, the Wijde Ee and the Graft. The houseboat is accessible by private (or rented) boat or by foot/bicycle. By car you can reach the houseboat via the ferry De Burd to a distance of about 200 meters (parking at the pumping station and the rest walking on partially paved roads along the meadow). The houseboat has its own jetty with space for 2 large boats and 2 good bicycles are available at an additional cost.
