The B&B is located in the middle of the village of Lies, on the east side of Terschelling. This quiet but centrally located village is on the widest part of the island. At a distance of only 1 kilometer is the Wadden dike. Here you can enjoy the special ebb and flow spectacles of the Wadden Sea during the day. At night, you look out to the mainland and see the lights of Harlingen sparkle. The breathtaking starry sky is even more visible here, where it is really dark! Walk, bike or drive 2.5 kilometers to the north side of the island and you will find yourself with your feet in the soft sand of the widest Dutch beaches. Be warned: taking beach walks, with the wind in your hair and the salty air in your lungs is very addictive. Behind the farm shared use of south-facing terrace and meadow with various meadow birds (lapwing, godwit, redshank and oystercatcher) as co-users. At night when all these co-users are sleeping a bright starry sky.

Terschelling is the middle Wadden Island with a huge diversity in landscape, flora and fauna. Beach, dunes, forest, polder, salt marshes and mud flats. Throughout the year there is a diversity a plants and animals to see. Especially birds change throughout the year with in summer the meadow birds and spoonbills.
