Dear visitor, Our guesthouse is located in our farmhouse. It has its own entrance and is very suitable for two people to get away. It has four sleeping places, so there is also the possibility to stay overnight with more people. There is a spacious double bed (180x200) and a nice, spacious bunk bed (80x200 cm). There are plenty of amenities in the cottage including a dishwasher & washing machine. You can enjoy plenty of privacy and have your own little terrace. You can also bring your own bicycles safely and dry in the barn and possibly recharge them. The guesthouse has a spacious kitchen. Dogs are welcome by arrangement and a tent for possible visitors is possible by arrangement. Pellets for the wood stove can be purchased on site.

The location of the nature house is ideal, surrounded by green Groningen nature, yet the city of Groningen is very easy and quickly accessible (20 minutes by bike to the center). The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village, bordering the green fields of Zuidwolde. Right from the cottage you can take a walk around the village (the 'Green Ommetje') or make a bike ride to the most beautiful places and villages of Groningen. Beautiful villages nearby are Winsum (in 2020 most beautiful village of the Netherlands), Garnwerd and Onderdendam. In the village itself is the Café Moeke Vaatstra, a very popular and well-known destination for cyclists and hikers. Here you can enjoy the terrace on the Boterdiep. The guesthouse is also located on the Boterdiep, where you can swim and canoe in the summer. The canoe is always available. Near the cottage (3 km) is a beautiful nature reserve: Kardinge. Supermarkets are at 10 minutes cycling distance in Beijum or nearby Bedum.
