Simplicity and reuse are the basis of our yard. Small and compact, among the meadows and trees stands this nature house. A shed, attractively furnished for a quiet stay. Enjoy the crackling fire in the wood stove, the chickens scurrying around and the heather sheep grazing peacefully in the meadow. Get lost in a book or sniff Spring scents in the woods. End the day with a campfire and watch thousands of stars appear in the sky. Because of the comfortable sofa bed, it is still spacious inside. There is a small furnished kitchenette with water and a two-burner stove. Wood for the stove can be bought here. Outside a simple dry toilet and under the trees is a hot outdoor shower and dishwashing kitchen. The ordinary toilet, refrigerator and microwave/oven in the farmhouse are shared with the possible guest of the other mobile homes. Luxury is a word that does not suit our yard. However, the richness and abundance of our yard we gladly share.

Go hiking or biking and enjoy Drenthe's agricultural landscape and beautiful natural areas. A fifteen-minute walk from the Braamsluiper is where the forest begins. Old peat mining canals traverse the forests around Elim and Hollandscheveld. In Schoonhoven, a large natural swimming lake 4 km away, is great for swimming and relaxing recreation. National park Het Dwingelderveld is a 20-minute drive away and, with its sand drifts, forests and heathland, offers many days of hiking fun. The vecht valley near Hardenberg offers a varied hiking landscape.
