Our nature house is located in the historic and quiet village of Oud Sabbinge, a 20-minute walk from beautiful Lake Veere. In the nature house you can unwind and enjoy the view while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. Our hobby is subtropical gardening and with that we try to create a tropical atmosphere. It is possible to take walks through the forest or to the beach to swim in Lake Veere. For lovers of good food there is plenty of choice: 2 1-star restaurants a snack bar and other restaurants within a 2-3 kilometer radius. There is coffee and tea (fresh mint and lemon from the garden in the summer) and you can prepare a delicious meal in the complete kitchen (incl. dishwasher). In good weather you can eat outside on the private terrace. You can watch your own program through the TV (Chromecast) with Wifi and it is great sleeping with the electrically adjustable bed.

In this small village it is quiet, you can fully enjoy the water, forests and vast natural areas. In the evening you can take a walk to Lake Veere, enjoy the beautiful nature and take a refreshing dip. In winter, you can walk along the water and get a breath of fresh air. There are also plenty of opportunities for water sports enthusiasts, sailing, diving, canoeing, supping, etc. There is a sailing school nearby for starters. The basic needs are available at 1 kilometer distance, there are 2 supermarkets in the vicinity, 1 of which is open on Sundays. Bicycles can also be rented in Wolphaartsdijk (1.5 km). For more extensive shopping and restaurants, the cities of Goes, Middelburg and Veere are an excellent place. This is 10 minutes away by car. The North Sea (25 minutes) and Oosterschelde (10 minutes) are also within easy reach.
