On the edge of the national park Dwingelderveld stands in the middle of the forest our nature house. The house is suitable for 6 persons. On the ground floor is a large bedroom with double bed and a bathroom cabinet. On the second floor are two bedrooms with two single beds each. The bathroom is also on the ground floor with sink, separate shower and toilet. A washing machine is available in a separate room. Dogs are not welcome. Upon arrival the beds are made and kitchen linen is provided. There is a possibility to rent bath towels, this costs € 5 per person. There is also a lockable shed where bicycles can be stored, electric bicycles can be charged in the shed. Upon departure you must leave the cottage clean and in the same condition as you found it. If you cannot clean it yourself, you can book the final cleaning. This costs € 60.00. Parking space at the house is available.

The forest cottage is located about 2 km from the beautiful brink village of Dwingeloo. There are many terraces and several eateries and restaurants. The swimming pool and experience park is within walking distance. There is plenty of opportunity for walking and cycling. A few kilometers away is the recreational lake Het Blauwe Meer. In the vicinity is much to experience as the sheepfold Dwingeloo and Ruinen, the outdoor theater Shakespeare in Diever. You can explore the Dwingelderveld both by bike and on foot. There are also other nature reserves around Dwingeloo such as the Drents-Friese Wold and the Holtingerveld. If you get up early you have a good chance of seeing deer, squirrels and special birds close to the house.
