This cottage is for people looking for a retreat experience! Unwind with a friend, your sister, your mother or your partner. The cottage is located in the back yard of retreat center @Hélène in de Bilt, completely free with fantastic views over the polder, where horses, cows and sheep graze. The cottage has a living room with view and a fireplace (no TV), open kitchen (microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, stove, fridge / freezer, dishwasher), a bathroom (shower, sink and toilet), dining / work room and bedroom with double bed (180x200). Extra to book: wood-fired sauna (time subject to availability regarding retreat guests), breakfast service (homemade), 2-course dinner (organic, homemade, from own vegetable garden), relaxing head treatment, meditation, yoga). Includes covered outdoor seating area overlooking and using part of the garden (Maximum rental 1 month).

Through the garden with fruit trees and past the animal pasture (two goats, a piglet and chickens) you walk to your private retreat house. You have your own part of the garden with an unobstructed view from the sitting room on the polder. At 1.2 km is Sandwijck estate, where you can take a short walk. A little further away is estate Beerschoten, where you can walk several marked trails (5, 6 and 12 km). The Utrecht Ridge is a paradise for cyclists and hikers. Close to the highways and the city of Utrecht, but still completely free!
