Its all nature in Tuscany

Tuscany will for sure surprise you with its many environmental parks. Although choosing between them is sometimes a hard task, the one we can recommend is the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park. By visiting it, you can enjoy an incredible selection of natural wonders, and you will do so in tranquillity. However, you will not be entirely alone, as there are a number of animals you can expect to meet while exploring this beautiful location.

But, if you feel tired of walking in the end, you can consider heading to the so-called Giglio Island. Just choose one of the several beaches in the area and proceed with swimming and sunbathing. You will be amazed by the natural beauty and the picturesque sceneries.

Once in Tuscany, the Val d’Orcia is something that you just have to see. The valley is so aesthetically pleasing that we sometimes find it hard to accept that it is part of real life, and not some kind of a fairy tale. It is nonetheless real – in fact, various cultures grow on the seemingly endless hills. The area is so popular that it is almost certain that you have seen photos of it at least once. Moreover, the valley has been depicted in a number of pictures with great cultural significance.

Activities abound

If hiking is something you enjoy, then Tuscany has got you covered. There are lots of trails to choose from, all exhibiting different characteristics. This variety means that Tuscany can lure both the casual walker and the more experienced hiker. Before setting out, however, make sure to plan accordingly, as some of the trails are quite long and you may need up to six hours to finish just one of them.

Tuscany is also great by bike. If biking excites you more than just walking, do not worry – there are a lot of options. While going out alone might not seem fun, you can alternatively book a tour. Thus, you will meet fellow bike lovers, with whom you will engage in a memorable exploration of the region.
